Biography
Kerry McDowell is a Project Manager II with the Quality Measurement team at the Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE). Kerry completed her research-based BA in Psychology and Spanish at the University of Connecticut. Kerry has experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut studying the gross motor coordination of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, as well as studying coping skills among individuals diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Kerry also holds a M.S.Ed. in Counseling and Mental Health Services and a M.Phil.Ed. in Professional Counseling both from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to CORE, Kerry worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania studying the efficacy of Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy among individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Kerry has experience in contract management, dissemination and implementation, Institutional Review Board management, and scale validation.
